DVD Review JUSTICE LEAGUE: SEASON ONE

If you are like me and are a fan of Super Hero cartoons, Justice League: Season One, won’t disappoint. The show aired a few years back on Cartoon Network but I never got around to watching it. I recently checked it out on DVD and it definitely stands out above most cartoons of recent.
You get some of the most popular DC Comics characters - Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, to name a few. The plots are pretty good, yet sometimes feels like the same old thing. The animation ranges from above average to really good through out. One of the best parts is the voice work featuring many different voice stars and actors. The biggest disappointment was that it doesn’t come in Anamorphic Widescreen format.
This is overall a great cartoon for the kids and if you’re a kid at heart you’ll find plenty to like about this series. I’ll definitely be checking out the rest of the seasons.

The still do keep the pace since 1961! And they rock!
Ninja, you can seek for Justice League (were on air from 2001 to 2004) and also for Justice League Unlimited (from 2004 to 2006, I guess).

Yeah. The DC comics cartoons beat the Marvel cartoons hands down. Except for X-Men Evolution. That show was great. But BAtman:TAS and Batman Beyond beat it heands down.

I love justice league! “The tips at the end of shoelaces are called “aglets”. Their true purpose is sinister.”

I watched this cartoon 6-7 months ago. There are interesting, those who created this cartoon made a good decision to put all the american super heroes on one place, and there enemies to..
And of course, to not forgot the packed action from the cartoons.

Justice League Rules. I’ve kind of got my prayers answered with the Iron Man movie too. I wouldn’t mind seeing a Daredevil sequel too.

One of the comic cartoon show to watch. The different power of the characters that make it complete to be heroes. Like for example, without one, the other wouldn’t be as powerful.

Ive seen most of this show so i don’t think i’m going to bother with the dvd. You should do a review of that cartoon superman movie. The one with that dude that never dies and almost kills superman.

This is one the best shows based on the comics ever!
I have both 2 DVDs in my collection and sometimes we make Justice League video night parties))
I like the comics in general since i was a kid and this show is the best for me because i can see all characters in one cartoon.
As for the films from the comics one of my favorite is Sin City. I heard that maybe its sequel may be will appear. I really hope that it’s not only the words.

my sister whos 9 loves the justice league!

DC comics super heroes never get old. Most series featuring their heroes are classic even before they start. Batman is my personal favorite followed only by Green Lantern. By the way the new Batman movie is excellent.

My five year old loves all the original comics - it’s funny all all of them are coming back and the young kids are getting so in to them. I’ll be excited to sit and watch this with him. Thanks for the great suggestion.
Best.

I love Super Hero cartoons that’s why I love Justice League, and I have been watching it since then on cartoon network. Famous Super Hero characters are there, and Superman is my favorite among the character hero. I think it would be a blockbuster if they put this into a movie. I just wish that my favorite cartoon super hero, Spiderman belongs to the group, otherwise, I still love JL and will always.

It took me a few episodes to get fully into “Firefly,” but once I did I was smitten. Whedon is masterful at creating a universe of characters and finding interesting ways for them to bounce off each other, and of course his peerless dialogue can be both painful and funny in the same sentence. On the surface, “Firefly” may have been about the travels of a ragtag group of spacefarers through a dangerous galaxy, but the most interesting part of “Firefly” was what happened between those sharp-tongued, complicated characters inside that beat-up little ship.

I wonder what will come next for all these comic book characters.
